Mahina Mele Farm Recalls Their Macadamia Nut

Screen-Shot-2015-08-05-at-9.55.59-PM-300x1921 August 5, 2015 – Mahina Mele Farms is recalling six different products from Lot #016, table below, after FDA testing found Salmonella in the macadamia nuts.

Consumers should not consume these products and should rerurn them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

To date no illnesses have been reported regarding these products, but should you have any concerns or consumed any of these problems and are showing signs of illnesses, seek medical attention immediately. Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may experience a fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomitin and abdominal pain.
